Nick Hughes joined a local Worcestershire Firm over 38 years ago having been educated at Chigwell House Preparatory School and King Edwards Five Ways Grammar School. Nick attended the University of Keele to read Law and Economics and the College of Law at Chester for his Solicitor’s Final examinations. He was a Partner since 1987 and the Senior Partner of a local firm since 2012, Head of the Property Department for over 20 years and has been the President of the Worcestershire Law Society and is still on the Committee. Nick served as COLP from introduction in 2013 to 2016 and acted as the Complaints Partner and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Nick qualified over 35 years ago, and has been predominately focused in property law - with specialist expertise in commercial, residential and agricultural landever since, a field in which Nick is regarded as one of the most experienced Conveyancers in the County with a reputation to match from both colleagues in the profession and clients. He has extensive experience in acting for the rural community, dealing with a wide range of legal matters for farmers and landowners.
Outside of the office Nick is an active member of the local community, playing an important role in many sporting, cultural, educational and charitable organisations, he is a School Governor, Chairman of Kidderminster Civic Society, Secretary of John Brecknell Trust, Past Chairman West Midlands Royal Yachting Association, Kidderminster Heritage Opportunities Group and The Museum of Carpet.
